Soft and Bright.

Daylight savings time change is such a small adjustment, but has such a huge impact on us every year. I haven't been very productive this week since we're all feeling a bit drained. Mostly spent my free evening times finishing up a few lovies. I'm really liking the new eyes, and the personality they give. This little guy has been begging to be finished for months now! He's finally done, and now seems to think he needs a fox friend...
I'm alternating between two types of yarn for my lovies. I love the fuzziness of the Snuggly Wuggly yarn by Loops and Theeads, and the amazing range of colours in the pastel palette. Then I'm drawn in the opposite direction to Red Heart Soft. I like the drape and sheen, and the bolder colours. Truth be told, I'd rather work all my projects with Pacific by Cascade yarns but I'm not sure I could charge enough to cover my costs.  Something to work towards maybe.
So here is an example of the baby yarn versus the bold.
Opposite ends of the spectrum for sure!!
I know many who are very traditional when it come to making or buying items for baby, and also know there is a trend toward bolder design and colour for nurseries and accessories these days. I'd love to hear opinions on it!
